During this stationary riding holiday, we will discover the Parque Natural Del Estrecho de Gibraltar, with its beautiful beaches, valleys and small fishermen towns.
This program is ideal for intermediate riders who want to gain more trail experience. It is also a perfect program for those who want to do short rides and have some time to relax at the same time.

We recommend renting a car to explore the surrounding area and have more restaurant options for lunch and dinner.
Pick-up/ drop-off are available from Malaga Airport or Algeciras train station. Pick-up on Day 1 can is scheduled for earlier than 6pm. On the last day, you will be dropped off at the airport after 7am.
Transfers are also available from Malaga bus or train station at no extra cost.

Day 1: Arrival
We will pick you up from Malaga airport (or Algeciras train station) and transfer you to your accommodation. We will then match horses with rider based on various criteria such as height and riding experience.

Overnight at Hotel in Tarifa city center
Day 2: Dunes of Punta Paloma
Today, we ride from Punta Paloma through a pine forest along the Atlantic coast and we will enjoy splendid views on the African continent. We will have a lot of fun riding the beaches of Tarifa.

Overnight at Hotel in Tarifa city center
Day 3: Towers of Hércules
Our ride for the day follows what could be considered the southernmost route of the Iberian Peninsula. It runs parallel to the coast through an old livestock route. The whole route offers a splendid view over the Strait, Morocco, and the colony of Gibraltar, with the pillar of Hercules and the Djebel Musa, forever standing on the other side.
The Djebel Musa was a mythological element in the strait of Gibraltar. It was the boundary of the Greek World until, according to Greek historian Herodotus, Colomo Satos went through, back in 7th century BC.

Day 4: From Mountain to Sea
Today, we will go to the foot of the mountains, where we will get to learn more about the life of the locals and the native animals of the area.

Day 5: Real Tesoro Ride
Our tracks go through through the Sierra, allowing us to enjoy unbeatable views of the Strait of Gibraltar, and if visibility is good, of the entire North-African coast…Passing through a wind farm, we will descend through a beautiful pine forest with magnificent views of the Ojén Valley.

Overnight at Hotel near Tarifa
Day 6: Los Lances Ride
Today, we go on a circular ride through the natural setting of the lances, with splendid views of the far mountains of Africa.
We will cross rivers and ride on a beautiful white sand beach.
Riding approx. 3 hours

Overnight at Hotel near Tarifa
Day 7: Departure
We will transfer you back to the airport after breakfast.

Non Riders
Non-riding companions are welcome to join this trip. It is best to have a car in order to do some sightseeing while the rest of the group explores on horseback.

Accommodations
This is a stationary ride, so nights will be spent at the same location.
Description
This lovely beach hotel offers simple and comfortable guestrooms, all equipped with private facilities, air conditioning, heating, a TV, free Wi-Fi and a phone.
There is a small garden with an outdoor pool where guests can relax in the evening.
