Experience the magic of English Royalty in the Cotswolds
England is a land rich in history and grand rural estates. Our England guided walking tours introduce you to the beautiful region of the Cotswolds – where grand country estates and the gardens of royalty dot the landscape.
Located in the Devon and Exmoor areas of southwest England, our guided tours are a taste of rural England as it once was – and how it was enjoyed by royalty and the elite.
On these walking tours you will join a small group with your own personal guide. Your hosts for the week are David and Jennie Brech. Jennie is a natural light photographer, and David chairs the local Community College. They are passionate about the countryside and its way of life. They have seven children and have walked the Cotswolds for 30 years. You stay in luxurious country houses, each set in their own parkland and each bordering Prince Charles’ estate at Highgrove, Tetbury. All accommodation has bathrooms en suite, and you have full English Breakfasts and gourmet evening meals as part of the family, full of English tradition.
There are two unique walking tours to choose from. Hidden Trails’ Southwest England Walks is a guided tour covering areas such as Exmoor National Park, Dartmoor National Park, Dunster Castle, Cotswold Villages, the Abbey Gardens at Malmesbury, Bath, Devon and more. Our Royal Gardens walking tour is a guided garden tour of the Cotswold gardens enjoyed by past and present royalty.
