New Wonders of Nature

Voting is now underway to find the “New 7 Wonders of Nature”. The New 7 Wonders of Nature will represent the most beautiful, breathtaking and awe-inspiring natural places on the planet.
The search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature began in December 2007, with nominations from over 220 countries pouring in. The top 77 candidates were shortlisted, and from that the final 28 finalists were found. You can currently view the 28 finalists online, where you can also vote for your favored Top 7. In 2011, once all the votes have been tallied, an official declaration will reveal the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Nine of the 28 natural wonder finalists are featured on our Hidden Trails trips - the Amazon (South America), Black Forest (Germany), Cliffs of Moher (Ireland), Dead Sea (Jordan), Galapagos (Ecuador), Grand Canyon (USA), Iguazu Falls (Argentina), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and Table Mountain (South Africa). Many others can be visited if you have time either end of your Hidden Trails vacation, including Mount Vesuvius (Italy), the Bay of Fundy (Canada), Milford Sound (New Zealand), the Great Barrier Reef (Australia) and Ayers Rock (Uluru) also in Australia.
