Introduction
Corrientes Argentina
If you enjoy long rides, cattle works and you want to learn more about the Gauchos, then this program is made for you!

The Curuzú Cuatiá River flows into the Miriñay River and the course of both rivers is the natural boundary of the Estancia. The 5600 hectares covered by the estancia are dedicated to the breeding and rearing of Braford cattle and Creole horse as well as wool and sheep meat production.

The terrain around the estancia contains varied ecosystems: pastures, marshes, rivers, mountains, plains and hills.

Accomodation

Accommodations
This is a progressive ride, so accommodations will be in different locations.

Descriptions
You will stay in 2 nights at the estancia and 1 night in an outpost.

Accommodation Itinerary - subject to changes based on availability
Night 1: Estancia
Night 2: Outpost 'Puesto de Piedra'
Night 3: Estancia

Estancia
The main house in the estancia was recently remodeled with great attention to the style and architecture of this Argentinian Province. The local architecture is well suited to warm temperatures. The whole house is surrounded by a gallery with low gabled roofs, and the fresh breeze coming from the countryside, helps to beat the heat.
Each of the 7 bedrooms are made with adobe walls, high ceilings and all have a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi (due to remote location connection can be slow) and windows overlooking the garden. Please, note that there are no TVs at the estancia. However, there is cell phone coverage.
There is an outdoor pool (not heated) where guests can relax in the evening.

Outpost 'Puesto de Piedra'
This rural outpost has one communal bedroom with 6 bunk beds and 4 beds. Facilities are shared.
There is a hot water and electricity available.

Room Occupancy
Single supplement only applies to the nights at the estancia and is subject to availability. The single supplement fee is mandatory for all solo travelers.
Triple occupancy is usually possible at the estancia upon request.

Meals
All meals are included from dinner on Day 1 to lunch on the last day.

Fruit and vegetables from the garden are brought to the table of the estancia to create fresh and tasty dishes that highlights the value of the traditional cuisine of Corrientes.

Soft drinks are included during meals and water is provided during the rides.

Dietary Restrictions
We can cater to all dietary restrictions given prior notice.

This trip includes and can accommodate special dietary requests.

Riding

The estancia breeds and trains their own horses with great patience and without violence. The horses are part of the daily life here.

Children policy
Children over 12 years of age may participate in this program if they have riding experience and are ready to ride at least for 8 hours a day.

Horse Equipment
Our horses do not wear shoes because the ground around the estancia is soft and sandy.
We use bridles with kimblewick mouth bits with medium parts. Our saddles are traditional Argentinian saddles which are more comfortable than English saddles.
Saddlebags are provided to avoid ridding with backpacks.
We usually ride with both reins in one hand.
