During this short riding getaway in Piedmont, you will ride across hills covered with vineyards as far as the eye can see and discover local villages, farmhouses as well as centuries-old cellars.
The Piedmont is an historic wine region, especially renowned for its Monferrato wine. The wine-growing landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato are made up of 5 distinct estate as well as a castle.

Please, note that the itinerary below is to be considered indicative. It may be subject to variations due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.
Day 1: Incisa Scapaccino
Meet in the morning (around 9 am) at the equestrian center located in Carentino. After the assignment of the horses we will ride through town, making our way to Begamasco and Castelnuovo Belbo up to the town of Incisa Scapaccino. There, we will stop for lunch. Gogliardica grilled at the Bigatti farmhouse.
After lunch we ride back to the stables.

Overnight at farmhouse in Carentino
Day 2: Mombaruzzo
After breakfast, departure from the stables, passing by Bruno and through the Bosco delle Sorti. We will reach Mombaruzzo, famous for its soft amaretti biscuits. We stop for a packed lunch at a viewpoint along the trail. Then, we will make our way back via Casalotto, Bazzana and stop for a wine tasting at the Iglina di Bruno farm. After the tasting, we head back to the stables.

Overnight at farmhouse in Carentino
Day 3: Vineyards
We start our last riding day passing through Oviglio, Frascaro, Borgoratto and Gamalero. After our lunch break, we return to the stables through Tacconotti and the vineyards of Pico Maccario.

Seasons
Monferrato features a continental climate due to its position between the northern Alps and the Appennini mountain range.
Spring
This is one of the best seasons to visit as temperatures generally range between 15° to 25° C during the day.
Summer
This time of year can be hot, but the nights are fresher.
Autumn
The weather is similar to spring but the sun doesn’t bite as much.
Winter
Winters are quite cold and during the night, temperatures can drop to -5° C. It’s usually foggy and rainy, but there are still lots of bright days with a warm sun.

This is a stationary ride, so all nights are spent at the same location.
Description
You will stay in a farmhouse adjacent to the riding center. The farmhouse offers 3 bedrooms with shared bathroom.
There is a common area with a TV and a garden.

All meals are included from dinner on day 1 to lunch on the last day.
