Aculeo Creole Horse
The Hacienda Los Lingues in Chile is home to one of the most prestigious stables in the Americas, the Aculeo Stable, established in 1760. Horses from Aculeo are cousins of the Lipizziano stock, the prestigious forefathers of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, since 1935. This beautiful line, whose origins stretch back to the horses of the Berbers and the Numidians, in distant Africa, was brought to Spain by the Moors in the year 711, and later brought to the New World by the Spanish Conquistadors in 1492. |
