The horses were well trainied, in good shape and did an awesome job. The hosts really used our help and made us feel as a part of it, not only to 'entertain' us or keep us occupied.
I really enjoyed being of help, learning quite a bit about cattle farming. And most impoertant: we had lots of fun

Riding horses with a purpose and doing challenging things I never knew I could, This is tied with the great folks on the ranch.

Enjoyed the most: The scernery, the horses, the people, the wranglers, the whole experience. I loved going out with an assignment and accomplishing what we set out to do. The others were such fun and everyone had fun.

Enjoyed the most: Meeting people from around the world. Loved the ranch and the cowboys. Wonderful broodmares and stallions. It was a great experience.

Bothered you: I'm fearful of snakes, but that's my problem not theirs.

Enjoyed most:
The scenery and the riding on wonderful horses. We drove horses this time rather than cattle and I really enjoyed that a lot. Horses are a lot more fun than cattle!!

Enjoyed the most: The horses and the scenery. Big Mike and Little Mike and Big Mike's daughter Taylor do a really go job. they are working really hard at making it a good experience for the guest even though they are cowboys first and foremost.

Comments: I went to ride and enjoy the horses and the country and that was fulfilled in spades. It is truely a beautiful place to ride and the horses are wonderful well trained and in excellent condition. I hope they do well and keep Mike there because I would like to go back. Can't wait for my next horse vacation and Ryan you would not believe how well I ride now!

Enjoyed the most: The beautiful landscape, magnificant scenery, peacefulness, nature, pace of life and vacation, authenticity, experiencing part of the legend of this particular ranch and family. The host family was spectacular.

Comments: This was the first time for a ranch vacation so did not have any expectations re  services.  It was so much fun. Pryor Mountains is the best.

Comments: One of the guests who had been going to this ranch for over 10 years took us all under his wing and we had a great vacation!

Enjoyed the most: The horses were in excellent shape and well suited for the task. The Bassetts were very accommodating and helpful. The head ranch hand, Steve Beagley, went out of his way to involve everyone and share local lore.Our group was extremely congenial and plan a reunion in 2 years.

Bothered you: Lack of phone, satellite, etc in case of emergency. Suggested tipping policy (tips given to owner for distribution). This does not reward exemplary individual service. Many questioned this policy as the two key people that interacted with guests (head cowboy and cook) were non-family members. Most tipped just those two in cash.
