Beautiful scenery. Some trails were pretty grown up but passable.

There were a few needs but I would go again! Our guides were helpful and attentive.

Appreciate the support and cooperation during our preparations for this trip. Another awesome adventure!

Enjoyed the most:

Being so far back in the wilderness and away from any civilization, the horses and mules

Cooking was ...basic...but the cook was my favorite person on the whole trip....

Enjoyed the most
Being out in the middle of nowhere with a guide and his sidekick who were charming and confidence inspiring. Very quickly leant that the horses knew what they were doing so relaxed about the riding element. Fed wonderfully and Jim and lance were great company

Bothered you
Not having marshmallows to toast over the fire and a bottle of Whisky for the evening

David Schuster 2/15/2012

Enjoyed the most
Experiencing the environment on horseback.

Bothered you
The time and effort spent babysitting people that should not have been on the trip.

Comments
Thanks for the experience - it was memorable!

Enjoyed the most
The rugged scenery of the Gila Middle Fork in the midst of a remote wilderness where only we and nature could be accounted for.

Bothered you
Freezing temperatures the first two nights and inadequate means of keeping warm. I'm 75 years old and the lack of sleep took its toll on my energy and stamina.

Comments
I took my daughter on this trip with me to celebrate my 75th birthday. It was intended to be my final "Hoorah!" I'm hanging up my spurs and do not anticipate taking such a physically demanding trip again.

My daughter and I were the only two riders, besides our two guides, who were on this trip. That meant we got exclusive treatment and were pampered and coddled while in the Wilderness.  Pretty neat!

Great horse. Nice staff, good food.

Weather--cold and wet in October, but good tents.

Urska Ros 6/19/2010

Enjoyed the most -  The whole experience was excellent.

Teresa Monroe 6/10/2010

Enjoyed the most: Riding - the horses were wonderful and had a lot of pep. No boring moments.
This was tranquil and exciting all at the same time.  The rides were spectacular and the camp was tranquil.  The most amazing part was that Lance could put together gourmet meals in the wilderness.

Bothered you: Cold at night - but they gave me an extra sleeping bag and then it was wonderful. No complaints.

Comments: They were terrific - and tell them thanks.

Toni Lea Corwin 10/15/2009

Enjoyed the most: Everything. The food was great. Top of the line. The horses were wonderful. Very well behaved and very talented at handling rough ground. My host even had a extra sleeping bag because it was getting cold. Very knowledgeable about the area and the history. We had a good group for talking around the fire. Excellent guides.

Bothered you: Travling to and from - need better directions.

Fumiaki Tsumori 7/25/2009

Enjoyed the most: Scenery of American wilderness and nice people.

Bothered you: A long time! New Mexico is too far to travel from Japan!
