Enjoyed the most

The scenery and getting to spend time with my niece

Bothered you

There was nothing to complain about! A little snow, a little rain, Davis Lake was cold. All part of the adventure, and all out of human control

Comments

I do recommend you whenever I'm telling people about my adventures. I've never been disappointed in your service. It was a wonderful vacation!
The destination, the packers & guides, the horses and tack
I have a gluten allergy and I appreciate the extra consideration fine so I did not need to worry about food issues.

Bothered you

This was the Hostess first trip cooking so she was nervous and unsure and made sure everyone knew it. She brought her favorite things like coconut pudding and lemon cookies when kids would prefer chocolate or vanilla. She allowed some to get seconds and thirds before others got first and there was shortage of food. We felt the eating part of the trip was stressful and uncomfortable. Really not enough food for everyone. Also, not having a fire at night was odd. Once the sun went down you felt forced to go to bed so the "crew" could go to bed too. No place to hang out and watch the stars by a campfire. Not enough seating for everyone when it was time to eat. Some were always standing around and that is awkward.

Comments

It would be nice if you offered other trips for kids age 7 and older. This is the only one we found that we could go on.

Everything - the people , Hillary , Tom and Ed were brilliant - great company to be with . The horses and mules were great . Scenery , food and camping wonderful . Only thing would be we thought we would move from place to place and camp in different places - we didn't but it didn't matter in the end as we stopped in such a great place and the day rides were up to all expectations .! It's something our family remembers with great fondness .

Bothered you

Nothing - just bring good rain gear for the showers .
