Enjoyed the most
everything but my horse bubble was the best
Bothered you
had no complaints
Enjoyed the most: The opportunity to do a lot of riding, the beautiful country and the hosts.
Bothered you: Dust and elevation - but still well worth ther trip.
It was all so unique it's hard to say. The riding was challenging but fun. The scenery and wildlife viewing was spectacular. The trail guides and camp hands were kind and helpful, they really enjoy what they are doing. This is a wonderful trip in all aspects. I will do it again next year.
The heat and the dust.
I loved our guide Ivana, she is very passionate about mustangs, knows them all which is incredible! I loved my horse, Tip. I loved the camp fire, being out in the wild (more like the desert rather in the Sierras though). I loved we had a small efficient group, ready to go all the time!
Dust. I wish I was prepared to be in the desert rather than in the mountains. I would have brought more clothing to cover my mouth. Please advise people it is more being in the desert and not next to lakes and high mountains as it can be seen on the pictures. I wish we could have done other than walking- a little trot here or there maybe (cantering?- would have been a dream!). We had a very capable group with most people owning their own horses.
It was a very well organized ride. The staff were friendly and horses were in excellent condition. We had plenty of food and clean/bottled water. The time spent in the saddle was longer than expected. I enjoyed it, but it was hard on the some of the folks who don't ride often. In every other way the trip exceeded my expectations.
The bugs & sun. Bug repellant and sunscreen are essential on this trip.
I loved the passion of Ivana our leader towards nature and the wild horses.
Everything was great, sadly we could only walk the horses, a little trot or canter would have been amazing!
