Enjoyed the most
The one day that we could ride at a faster pace and do some cantering. Talking with the other guests from different countries was very enjoyable.

Bothered you
Trip had too much moutain climbing and not enough versatility.

Comments
The entire process from my original booking to the end of our trip was handled exceptionally well by Hidden Trails. Every question I had was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Enjoyed the most: The nature and hard working and very reliable and safe horses.

Bothered: Was not aware in advance of an itinerary change and that the accommodations had only shared bathrooms.

Enjoyed the most: The fact that we were in the wilderness, no phones,TVs , nothing modern, even the camp fire. The trustworthy horses, the scenery, the immense knowledge of our guide -Neil MacLaine, the hospitality of his family. It beats any other holiday hands down.

Bothered you: Riding along the ridge of Box Canyon - nut it cured my fear of heights!!

Comments: Just to thank Hidden trails and also particularly Neil MacLaine for everything.  An extremely enjoyable holiday with a most experienced and friendly ranch owner and friends/relatives. Also the B&B owner was very accomodating and helpful. Certainly a holiday experience we both enjoyed immenseley even at our age.  Just a terrific experience - the riding was brilliant.

Enjoyed the most: The scenery and the horses were wonderful. The outfitter was very friendly and easy going, with wonderful people working for him.

Bothered you: After arrival at camp and getting the horses and tents ready for the night, it might have been nice before dinner to have had some drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) cheese and crackers or fruit before dinner as we sat around the fire waiting for dinner to cook.

Comments: We have traveled with Hidden Trails 5 times and it has always been a great trip. We enjoyed the climbs up in the mountains, not much fast riding, but we didn't really expect alot of that. The last day it may have been nice to have had some long canters on the way home when possible. The boys loved the rae at the mountain top on day 3.
