Enjoyed the most

Having such a great group to travel with. We were really compatible. It was a nice leisurely pace, didn't feel rushed at any point. Accommodations were beautiful and I appreciated after a day of riding to have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep on.

Enjoyed the most
The scenery.

Bothered you
Mud and rain.

Enjoyed the most: The horses. Then, it was the horse atmosphere. The other riders in our group were very fun. Mostly, it was being on a horse in that beautiful country.

Bothered you: Getting off the horses at the very end of the trip.

Enjoyed the most:
Everything was great: the horses, the staff (Chryse, Luke, Barb, Katie & Sarah), the other guests, the meals, accommodations and of course those mountains.  Favorite two riding days were Allenby Pass and Fatigue, fantastic views.

Bothered you:
The rain. (Unfortunately comes with riding in the mountains)

Comments:
Sundance Lodge has some limited electricity and indoor plumbing that can be used after dark, however Halfway Lodge is truly a wilderness log cabin! A common room downstairs to eat and socialize and upstairs 4 rooms with bunk beds to sleep.  The outhouses were well maintained and the shower at Halfway is an adventure you shouldn't miss with great views.

Enjoyed the most: Excellent oldtimer guide Dennis was very knowledgeable and pleasant - entertained us with guitar and sing-along songs. Explained a lot. Beautiful scenery - excellent weather - no rain. Slow pace to take it all in. The ride up Fatigue Creek was best.

Bothered you: Have to think hard to find something... Brushing my teeth over the sink surrounded by our dishes at Halfway Lodge. Of course, I could have walked down to the creek!

Comments: The owners Ron and Pat shared dinner with us the last night at Sundance and we learned a lot from them about their outfit etc. If there weren't so many other places to go to, I would repeat this trip anytime!  Sundance Lodge better than expected. A nice big lounge - everything clean - beautiful location next to a creek.  Trip exceeded my expectations. My first packtrip was very relaxing - just right for me to get high up into the mountains where I could not get on foot.

Enjoyed the most: The trip to Fatigue Pass. Great ride and beautiful scenery. The lodges were very peaceful and quiet. The food was fantastic. Dixon was an excellent horse!

Bothered: Nothing.

Comments: This is one of the best trips I have taken.

Enjoyed the most: The day trip to Fatigue Pass.

Bothered you: Our guide seemed to have to clear trails and fix pipes and I think another person should be hired to saw trees off of trails instead.

Comments: I believe my friend and I were well prepared for this trip because we booked though Hidden Trails. The others did not and therefore problems arose with them being unprepared.
