Enjoyed: all of it

Bothered you: nothing

This was an excellent ride.  The terrain was varied and very beautiful. Riding in the Spainish countryside is great because people tend to live in villages and the landscape is unspoiled.
Jose Manuel was a fantastic host. Overall, I enjoyed the ride a lot and would recommend it.

My only criticism would be that the ride was limited to walking and galloping with no trotting or cantering to vary the pace.  Also, the guide rode a very hot horse that jigged several hours a day.  As a result, some of the horses that had good walks would tend to get ahead causing that horse to become even more agitated.

We are always on the lookout for rides catered to more experienced riders with a varied and, terrain permitting, fast or faster pace than the majority of rides advertised. The riders who accompanied us in Spain were excellent riders and had no difficulty handling and controlling their horses.

Jose Manual, Flores and Oscar -- they were delightful, and went out of their way to make the trip fun for us, even providing extra opportunities.

Bothered you: That the terrain was almost all the same . . . dirt roads. Although the countryside was very pretty, I prefer narrow trails through mountains and forests and more technical riding. I also prefer more balance between gaits; there was too much walking. And it's more fun with more people . . . three was a very small group, and we weren't evenly matched.

My eighth Hidden Trails trip since 1998

Thanks for the recommendation on this one.

Enjoyed the most: A hard question to answer. Thanks to the professionalism of the host and his employees, we travelled great trails, saw magnificent scenery without any problems or concerns. Of note should be that Jose Manuel was very kind to our daughter, Toika. Apparently, she was the youngest rider (13) who had joined this trek. He made her feel part of the adult group.

Nothing, absolutely nothing bothered us about the tour itself.

This trip was a superb family holiday. I would highly recommend this tour and guide.

We greatly enjoyed all. The countryside, the food, the wine, the accomodations were excellent. Manuel, Antonio and Oscar treated us as if we were royalty.

Bothered you: The flies. It was a very small price to pay for the experience.

Many thanks again for a great life experience.

Enjoyed the most: I enjoyed being with like-minded people from different parts of the world, who shared my love of horses.

Bothered you: Conversation was very difficult due to the language barrier

Comments: Overall I found the holiday most enjoyable.

Enjoyed the most: The horses, the nature, the relationship between all the rider, the guides, the meals, the hotels and Amanda as a translater and coach This is a really pure spanish tour

Bothered you: We had a nervous horse who was training on the tour and he bothered us

Enjoyed the most:
The horses, the other riders, the guide and the meals...

Bothered you:
The hotel in Quintanar de la Sierra was a bit of a strange place, but not unpleasant.

Comments:
It sounds repetitive to say excellent to all things, but I enjoyed my experience fully!
