The staff, beautiful location and luxurious accommodations

Bothered you

Horses could have been better but this is not there main attraction. It is a good place for bird watching, hiking and relaxing and not the best for riding.

No other riders. Horses were OK but not very fit. Best at a walk.

I wish that they had, had a nuturalist as a guide for people like me that can ride, but would like to walk.

I took the time to explore this trip for a couple of years.

This may not be a place to go for gung ho riders.The elevation, and verticle slopes do not alow, alot of cantoring or cowboy riding.Charles Darwin, said that if you want to see nature you have to look. WELL THIS IS PLACE FOR YOU!!!!! ENJOY AS I DID

This trip is underrated.  We were treated beautifully by all of the staff, and all of our requests were met enthusiastically -- from special meals prepared by Pedro, to individual hikes and horse rides led by Byron.  I can't speak highly enough about the personal attention we all received, and the rejuvenation I felt after a week in this eden.

Enjoyed the most: The country was beautiful and the people were very friendly.

Bothered you: The riding was quite limited to local roads and trails.  More varied trails through the countryside would have been great.

Enjoyed the most:
The fact that Patricio, my guide, really tried to interact with the townspeople. I found that to be so different from the normal routine of being at a resort where you don't get to know the people or culture of the country you are visiting. This was a much more satisfying experience.

I really can't think of anything that bothered me.

Everyone at the hacienda was just great and took very good care of me. It was truly a unique experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you!
I was the only rider. The Hidden Trails group in the office were very helpful with any questions I had.   I really had no idea how far away from everything the hacienda was. But in the end, that made it absoluteley perfect.
