Everyone was incredibly friendly and lovely and the stay at La Maravila felt like staying with wonderful local friends.

Bothered you

Nothing really. Only disappointment was a re-shuffling of plans in La Fortuna which meant we didn't go for a hike on which I had hoped to see more of Costa Rica's famous birds and other animals, but some things can't be helped.

Nothing really. Food could have been better; but it was Costa Rica (rice and beans).

I have been on multiple trips with Hidden Trails as the middle man provider and all have been good. Can not recall (too long ago) the initial contact. I think it may have been an unsolicited copy of the magazine of offerings.

Riding was very good. Thought it might be too much riding for us but. It was just right. I won't plan a non riding day in the middle next time as we didn't need it.
