The beach rides! The horses were fantastic. Well-behaved when they needed to be; spirited and forward-going when the moment required it. I'd not ridden Arabs before, but I will be in the future- just incredible: sure-footed, alert, fun & safe. Kathy does a fantastic job of looking after them. Kathy is a complete professional when it comes to horses and riding. Incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, she was full of good advice and took care that we had a safe and fun ride. Given that we spent 6 hours in each others company over 6 days, she was also great company! Ruud, Kathy's husband, did a tremendous job on the meals and entertainment side. Kathy is very lucky to eat like this every night! Ruud is an adventurous cook, using influences from all over. What a treat. he also has an incredibel sense of humour- never short of a story (or a corkscrew to hand!) As the only rider on the trip I was made to feel very welcome by both of them. They are very well-connected with all of the locals in the area and we had some nice non-riding experiences at the local winery, macadamia nut farm and friends' houses. A good trip all round!

The Australian ride was by far the best of all the riding excursions that I have enjoyed through Hidden Trails. I marked the accommodations as only 'good' because the property was under renovation.

Kathy put on a great riding vacation and I would recommend this trip to anyone who would like to see a little of Australia on wonderful horses. Kathy is also a great cook and we enjoyed some superior meals.

The perfect holiday!!! The holiday far surpassed any expectations I had.  Cathy's knowledge of the area and her amazing horses made it an experience to remember.  Her hospitality and cooking were fabulous and I cannot fault a single aspect of the holiday.

The whole trip was amazing - such a great experience. Kathy (the host ) was friendly and relaxed which menat we had I really fun week and the riding was out of this world. Her horses were so good natured, fit and well looked after which meant they seemed to enjoy the week as much as we did!

Nothing really bothered me - everything from booking the holiday to arrival to the riding was easy with absolutely no hassle. I wouldn't hesitate to use Hidden Trials again.

I suppose my expectations for the holiday were totally surpassed...I knew I would enjoy it, but not as much as I did! Just a big thank you - the whole experience was amazing. I had a wonderful time with Kathy and it will be holiday that will never forget!!

Being completely disconnected from the world. The wildlife was interesting and very enjoyable.

One of the gals from London really needed to be "reined" in. She was boarding on out of control at times and needed to be directed.

Overall the trip and the riding exceeded expectations. Kathy was excellent! She is very special and her property is wonderful. Reiner and Jumbo were also very wonderful. Leslie and I enjoyed our time.

Galloping up the roads at full speed. Don't get to do that much here.

I got several very bad blisters on my butt. This is the first time ever and I've taken horse treking holidays for 5 years with no blisters ever.

A wonderful holiday.  Our host couldn't have been better.  Patient, fun and would do anything requested to ensure we had a good time.

I enjoyed the location of the ranch and the country side. The horses were very good and well cared for, and the rides in the eucalyptus forests were great. Our hostess was wonderful and made sure that we had a great rides and interesting side trips.

There's not really one thing that I enjoyed more than the other. But we really appreciated the guide's attention to us and the responsible choices of horses and tempo (considering our level of horse riding experience). The way the horses were kept. Good stables, plenty of space in the different paddocks for the horses. The stories about the horses. The food was terrific.

It was such a beautiful place to ride and I really enjoyed my horse, Copper. Kathy and Rainer took extra special care of me and I was the only guest that week.

Unfortunately, it rained for several days during my visit, but we did manage to get some rides in despite the torrential downpours.

Really enjoyed the freedom to gallop and totally enjoy her Arabian horses! Loved the terrain we covered in the progressive ride. Lunch stops along the way were delightful; food great. Friends and I rated her beach day as the best we've done, as in longest, best and safest sand, and the freedom to "fly". That rating compares what we have done in Costa Rica, California (a toss up here), Spain, Wales, and Ireland.
