The ride was great. The other riders were fun and no one complained about anything. The food was wonderful.
All of it
Bothered you
Bothered is a little strong, but there wasn’t information about what was needed on the drive the list pertained to the pack trip. The drive was different
Bucket list!!! Amazing experience. Living and working with a 50 herd of mules and horses is an incomparable experiences. Everyone came back a better horse person. The real McCoy . I hope I can go again
Everything was great - the horses and people were best!
Nothing
Outstanding - I think the trip was even better than the Mktg materials! I think there are ways to improve the marketing and better communicate how great the experience is.
Very laid back atmosphere, choice to participate as much or little as you want, delicious food, lovely wranglers and staff, excellent horses
Some moaning of other travelers, luckily not met with massive sympathy by the staff and that way avoided affected us happy people
My most favorite trip so far! Thank you!!
Riding, camping, and the staff.
Nothing. Exceeded my expectations. The best trip ever.
It was REALLY nice not to be instructed, especially when riding their horses. Maybe it was because our group were experienced riders? LOL It was fun getting to know the wranglers. Loved all the scenery!
I didn't care for the way some of the less experienced riders were riding their horses. No cowboy etiquette! From completely riding into you to running their horses UP HILL after riding them all day (not anything to do with the wranglers)! Also, the last night in a tent was awful! Guessing most tents were on a HILL! Didn't get any sleep that night! ***Ran out of bottled water and gatorade*** Planning for the heat wave was super bad.
Still can't believe I rode 100 miles in 3 1/2 days! LOVED IT!
I enjoyed becoming a lot better rider due to all the different challenging trail rides each day.
It seemed to be very disorganized. We had to wait one day in 106 degree weather for seemed like over 2 hours for the transportation vehicle to arrive to take us to camp. No air conditioning on the transport vehicle which made it very uncomfortable. Set up and take down at camp seemed very long. It was a very hot weekend. The guides really didn't intermix in conversation with the other riders at camp or on trail which was a little suprised, but again it was hot so maybe they didn't feel like it.
It was a lot more advances riding skill for long duration starting the first day. I just wasn't expecting it. It was extreme heat which made everything uncomfortable.
The horses, scenery, the authenticity of the horse drive, the other people... More than fulfilled my expectations.
The people - guests and staff!
My tender back side.CommentsAccomodations were as good as they could be considering we slept under the stars - and that was beautiful.
Stampede, riding in mountains, horse falling, in other words, everything a good cowboy probably wouldn't like
This is a real horse drive and the horses need to be taken care of which meant for me not enough high speed over the ridges, flying down the hills, excitementCommentsCraig was a great host and his wranglers were exceptional. Their knowledge of the entire wilderness and the drive was phenomenal. They took excellent care of riders and horses. I cannot say enough positive about them.
The ride, the scenery, the people. It was all good!
Just as I getting into the swing of things, the 4 days was over. I would have done another day for sure.
I enjoyed the feeling of being looked out for, I felt the customer service was excellent, and felt like part of the family.
What bothered me the most was the un-horsemanlike conduct of a few riders, in not being considerate of their surroundings
Enjoyed the most: I think the riding and the country side as well as good company and great fod.
Bothered you: oh maybe sleeping on the ground (ha) it's a joke.
Enjoyed the most: The people, scenery and riding of course.
Bothered you: Nothing
Comments: Funny story, Craig thought I was 87 years old because the application you sent them said I was born in 1919, It was the running joke that I looked good for my age. The great thing was that if I was going they were going to find me a mount to ride. The trip was awesome. The hosts and guides were really great and the food wad good also. It was a somewhat strenous trip with riding 25 miles one day and 30 on another but I would recommend it and plan to go again.
It was a great trip from beginning to end, everything it promised to be and more. Good food, service, horses and high emphasis on safety with cinch checks every ten minutes for the first half hour.
Bothered you: A few bug bites. That's about it.
