Enjoyed the most
General ambiance, (cowboy)life as it is...
Enjoyed the most: Sitting on a wonderful horse all day and living the childhood dream of being a cowboy/cowgirl (let's be honest) :) Being away from big noisy cities and enjoying the peace of moving cattle through the grassland of Wyoming with a great multicultural team and a great boss. Hanging out with the group at the cozy fireplace in the evening after a long exhausting day. And of course chasing cows :) I was happy that we were really integrated in the work and needed. Every person counts and makes the job easier. A herd of cows is not as easy to move as it looks like in the movies, it is hard work and requires a lot of endurance and patience...but it is quite fulfilling :)
Bothered you: That I never won the card game against the boss. ;)
Comments: Thank you very much for all your help! I had soooooooooooo much fun! I can send you some new photos from the cattle drive for your website, because I think the ones you have are not really showing the drive from its best side. Thank you again! It would be good to mention that due to the fact that the cattle drive depends on the weather, there might be a delay and the drive might take a day longer. That happens on a regular basis including on my trip. Some were able to stay an extra day, because they did not book their flights so tight. So maybe you can mention that in case people have more time, they can book their flight a day later to have a buffer in case there is a delay.
Enjoyed the most:Mr. Daly's dry since of humor. Watching the way Mr. & Mrs. Daly interact (he saves her a place at the dinner table and they held hands). They were very family oriented. The vast openess of the country.
Bothered you:Sometimes there was a communication gap on what we were expected to do. I realize this can be difficult with 1000 head of cows all mooing at the same time.
