Looking for some interesting things to do when on or around Sindlingen?  Take a look at these great events:

June 26th -28th
Relax and enjoy great music right at Castle Sindlingen as they host a Jazz concert to kick off the weekend Cross Country competition.  The watch the exciting competition all weekend long!

September 26-28th
Castle Singlindgen hosts another cross country, show jumping, and dressage show for juniors and young riders.  Watch all the up and coming talent!

November 18-21
There is an international horse show in Stuttgart this weekend.  Watch some of the world's most talented riders compete in CSI 5* jumping, dressage and driving.  See more at http://stuttgart-german-masters.de/

8km away from the riding center, is the quaint town of Herrenberg.  Take a free guided tour of the town, explore the local shops, and good food.  See http://www.herrenberg.de/en/tourism.html for more information on the town. 

Visit the Porsche and Mercedes-Benz museums, both located nearby, and learn the histories of these worldly brands. 
  • The Porsche Museum is located at Porscheplatz 1, D-70435 Stuttgart, and is open daily 9am-4pm (5pm on Saturdays and Sundays). 
  • The Mercedes-Benz Museum is located at Mercedesstrasse 100 70372 Stuttgart and open Tuesday through Sundays from 9am-6pm.  Visit the webpage for more information. 
Enzkloesterle is in the Black Forest and holds many exciting activities. From mini-golf to nature walks, to a giant mountain slide and park!  There is also a "climbing course" up in the tree tops, allowing you to traverse the canopy of the forest.  Find more information here.

Lake Constanze is worth a daytrip from the equestrian center.  Located on the border of Germany, Switzerland and Austria at the base of the alps, the large freshwater lake is a wonderful place to relax.  Participate in one of the numerous water sports offered, or tour the shores, visiting nearby castles, vineyards and intriguing towns.

Riding Level Explained
A Beginner
Beginner A rider who has limited experience, is unable to post the trot and does not canter.
B Novice
Novice A rider who is capable of mounting and dismounting unassisted, capable of applying basic aids, comfortable and in control at the walk, moderate length posting trots, and short canters.
C Intermediate
Intermediate A rider who has a firm seat, is confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly.
D Strong Intermediate
Strong Intermediate An intermediate rider who is currently riding regularly and is comfortable in the saddle for at least 6 hours per day.
E Advanced
All of the above, plus an independent seat, soft hands, and capable of handling a spirited horse in open country.
