Transfer: Athens
Arrival at Athens Airport and transfer to the Port of Piraeus where you catch the ferry to Naxos in the late afternoon. It is a 5.5 hour ferry ride to Naxos and you will arrival there by midnight. Departure is by public transport - metro, bus or taxi back to Athens Airport.

Moderate day walks are interspersed with more strenuous excursions, 4-6 hours per day (excluding breaks) on hilly to mountainous areas using well kept, sometimes stony paths.

You must be extremely physically fit and are expected to hike or ride four to six hours over steep or more rugged terrain.

Prolonged hiking/biking on moderate to difficult terrain (five to nine hours a day).
