I thought I had replied, but maybe I didn't. I went last October, at Polar Hestar near Akureyri and it was the best riding trip EVER. These horses are both fearless and safe. It's fast riding all week. I would go back this Fall, only I can't have time off. Still thinking of going riding in Iceland this summer, though...

I'm from central Canada, I don't know how old you have to be to be considered an older gal, but I will be 50 this year and would love to celebrate this with another riding holiday on gaited horses. Thinking of doing Horse Roundup in Iceland mid-October. I have ridden Icelandics before, in Vermont, and I love those little horses. Anyone up for this?
