Since my husband does not ride I am looking for a buddy for the "Alberta Backcountry Lodge Ride" in August 2010.  I am a 59 years old living in the Houston Texas area .  Also If anyone has taken this ride I would love to hear about it.  Thanks  Cindy Senko

I haven't done this ride but I live in central Alberta and have ridden lots in the eastern slopes of the Rockies.  It's a really beautiful area, nice rides.  Not lots of opportunity to go fast because of the terrain, but the scenery is breathtaking.

I just joined this buddy-finder today(25NOV09). I would love to do the Women's Backcountry Lodge Ride in August,2010 if the dates don't conflict with a family vacation I have second half of July. I'll be 55 in JAN10, am a 'novice' rider according to Hidden Trails' criteria. Alternatively, I'd love to go to Epona, Spain in March (off-peak season rates) for a week of trails and dressage lessons. Any interest there? Frankly, I'd like to ride just about any place I can find a companion for, so I can be quite flexible.   -Erica C.
