Christmas and New Year's Ride
Across the Wadi Rum with the Bedouins
- Jordan |
|
A Christmas holiday or New Year Eve in the
desert that will never be forgotten. A very nice cooler ride in the
Wadi Rum area that covers the most scenic
parts. A main fixed camp, with a big Bedouin tent, which becomes home,
is used for 3 or 4 nights and the remaining 1 or 2 nights are spent in
temporary campsites. Nice, sunny and short days during this part of the
year. Cooler at night. At the same time a full day
Petra visit and a full day in Aqaba.
Ever changing formations make this ride a unique experience as the
Wadi Rum is one of the most impressive deserts of the world. You will
live like the Bedouins: There’s no map; people rely on trade routes that
have existed for thousands of years now. This is an adventure for
those of you who want to escape from the over-stimulation of everyday
life, for those who long for the silence of an untouched desert.
